Ford Promotes Green Initiatives Through Documentary Films

Documentary filmmaking is a great way to promote various causes and educate people on the pressing issues in today's society. Topics can range from politics to history and from cars to defending the environment. Ford knows that there is a lot of good yet to come from filming quality documentaries too, which is why they've opted to sponsor a series of documentaries that focus on 'green' topics; something that we here at Anderson Ford think is a great idea.
Bet you thought they were going to be about cars, right? As it turns out, Ford really is more interested in helping the environment, not that models like the Ford Focus, Fiesta, and Fusion Hybrid weren't already proof enough.
Specifically, Ford is joining forces with SHFT.com, a website that has been developed by Adrian Grenier, a star of the HBO series Entourage and Peter Glatzer, a producer in the industry. The aim of the site is to explore and promote green causes to young consumers, as they often have one of the largest impacts of any demographic.
"SHFT.com celebrates businesses where great design, sustainability and innovation meet, which is why we are so excited to be forging this relationship with Ford,"1 explains Grenier. The documentaries will not only focus on the green issues at hand, but also how large businesses can play a key role in resolving these issues too.
Of course, if you'd also like to learn more about how Ford is helping the environment through more direct means, then feel free to check out the eco-friendly new Ford models that we carry here at 1001 State Route 10 West, Clinton IL 61727 today.
