Ford Experiences Strong Sales Overseas

We here at Anderson Ford know that our favorite American automaker is only as strong back home as its presence is around the world. Essentially strong sales for Ford around the world equate to more new Ford models, more advanced technology, and greater deals when the time comes to finance or lease one ourselves. That's why we keep such a close eye on how they perform overseas.

And just how are they doing? As it turns out, quite well. Ford is experiencing record profits in 51 European markets, marking a total growth within the continent of 2.4 percent for 2011. And from here, Ford only expects things to get even better. This is because the American automaker tends to release a total of ten all-new or redesigned vehicles throughout the European market in 2012, and quite a few will feature either diesel of hybrid powertrains.

"Despite the serious economic challenges we all faced in the region, 2011 was an exciting year for the Ford Motor Company in Europe," explains Stephen Odell, Ford Motor of Europe Chariman and CEO. "We made a commitment to relentlessly deliver new products and technologies even in the toughest of times and it's paying off."1
