Ford Sales Continue to Climb

We're now two months into 2012, and it's already shaping up to be an incredible year for Ford. Aside from an impressive showing at the 2012 North American International Auto Show, the company is also reporting some impressive sales numbers. And we here at Anderson Ford would like to take a minute to go over them with you, as we are dedicated to keeping you informed.
First, there's the cold, hard numbers. Ford sold 136,710 vehicles in January, which is up from the 127,317 vehicles that it had sold by the same time last year. In fact, this marks an 8.3-percent increase in sales overall. And for those of you who don't know, that's quite impressive.
As for the best selling model in the new Ford lineup? That would be the Ford Focus. It saw an amazing 60-percent increase in sales over the last year; a feat that almost no other competing vehicle can lay claim to. With an envious fuel economy rating and equally impressive infotainment technology.
Meanwhile, the Ford F-150 experienced strong sales as well. There are a couple reasons for this. For instance, while the it received an EcoBoost engine, the Ranger was officially discontinued. This brought more truck buyers over to the F-Series, especially now that fuel economy has improved with the introduction of EcoBoost.
