Ford Shows Off New Fusion Variants in Detroit
Ford knows that the Fusion is one of its most compelling models. Aside from the regular gasoline-based Ford Fusion, the company made a big impact by releasing the Ford Fusion Hybrid recently too. Now the company has bigger and better things in store for the lauded sedan, and we here at Anderson Ford have the inside scoop just for you.
Recently Ford showed off some next-gen Fusion models at the 2012 North American International Auto Show. More specifically, they unveiled the next-gen version of the Ford Fusion Hybrid, and it gains a healthy amount of fuel economy to persuade those thinking about making the hybrid jump. Just how big of an increase are we talking here? The 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid is expected to deliver an amazing 47 mpg city!
Of course, if that's not enough to satisfy your fuel-saving needs, then you could step up to the all-new Ford Fusion Plug-In Hybrid. It will reportedly achieve an amazing 100 mpg, making it one of the most efficient mid-size sedans ever created. And why wouldn't it be? Ford knows that as gas prices continue to go up, people are going to turn to hybrid, electric, and plug-in technology more and more.
And speaking of electrics... Ford also has the Ford Focus EV making its way down the pipeline. When the company releases all three vehicles, they'll have a solid hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and EV offering; something that not many other automakers can claim.
