Louisville Plant Celebrates Launch of the 2013 Ford Escape
For Ford, the launch of the 2013 Ford Escape SUV doesn't just mark the beginning of a new model year for an individual auto. It signifies a success story for the community that will create it. More specifically, Anderson Ford of Clinton, Inc. is referring to the automaker's Louisville Assembly Plant where refreshed models of the innovative Escape are currently rolling off the line.
What's so special about Louisville? Nothing...if you don't consider a $600-million investment and over 3,000 new jobs to be special. Anderson Ford of Clinton, Inc., for one, sure does. In order to allow for significant growth over the next few years, Ford completely renovated the Kentucky-based factory. Production of the Ford Escape will eventually be joined by that of five other new Ford models.
Mark Fields, President of Ford Americas, exclaims, "Louisville Assembly Plant's reinvention illustrates how Ford is going further, continuing to invest in American manufacturing and new jobs while delivering even more of the fuel-efficient vehicles that give customers true power of choice."1
Fittingly enough, no auto embodies such a combination of efficiency and options as the newest Ford Escape model. Owners can choose between three stellar engine options; two of which are available with the efficiency-enhancing "Ecoboost" feature. In terms of performance and handling, those lucky enough to test the model claim that the 2013 Escape drives better than any other variant thus far.
Think the 2013 Ford Escape might be the right fit for you? Be sure to stay tuned. Anderson Ford of Clinton, Inc. expects the revamped SUV to arrive at 1001 State Route 10 West Clinton, IL 61727 soon. When it does, we invite you to stop by at your earliest convenience and take the innovative Escape for a spin.
