Boss 302 Mustang
The Legendary Boss 302 is back... 
...And with a 444 hp, quad exhaust HI-PO 302 Engine, it really loves it's work! The new 2012 Boss 302 Mustang, just as the original 1969 & 1970 Boss 302 Mustangs, continues a Ford performance legacy by starting with an already great car and taking it to the next level with the Hi-PO 5.0L V-8 engine, suspension enhancements, and much more. The cold air inducted DOHC 4-V TI-VCT HI-PO 302 Engine features a staggering 444 HP@7400 RPM with 380 lb.-ft of torque @4500 RPM. It also features piston cooling jets, deep-sump oil pan with 8 quart capacity and a failsafe coolant system for peace of mind. Boss 302 specific enhancements include a revised composite intake system for high RPM breathing, forged aluminum pistons and upgraded connection rods for improved strength. 
A race-specification crankshaft main and rod bearings and a unique quad exhaust system are other Boss 302 features. The quad exhaust system includes two rear outlets and two side outlets from the exhaust crossover. This design sends the engine exhaust through a set of metal discs acting as tuning elements before the pipes terminate just ahead of the rear wheel openings. The side pipes provide an authentic V8 sound experience unlike any other Mustang!!

The Boss 302's suspension has likewise benefited from a lavish labor of love. It boasts stiffer springs, a fatter rear stabilizer bar, new bushing and 19" Pirelli P Zeros with 9" x 19" in front and 9.5" x 19" rear. Each shock offers 5-way adjustability via a simple slotted screwdriver. For drivers who want the highest response for the track event or a more relaxed ride around town. Brembo 4 Piston front calipers with 14" x1.26" vented rotors paired with high-performance performance friction carbon metallic front brake pads are race track proven.
